Youth Services
The focus of the youth program is to provide services to 16 - 21 year olds that will connect them with quality secondary and postsecondary educational opportunities and high-growth employment opportunities.
Some of the services available to eligible youth are as follows:
- Tutoring, study skills training
- Summer employment
- Occupational skills training
- Leadership development opportunities
- Mentoring
Youth must meet established economically disadvantaged criteria in order to participate in the program. If you are between the ages of 16 – 21 and think you may be eligible you must schedule an appointment with a WIA Client Services Manager at one of the four Career Centers located in Bardstown, Elizabethtown, Lebanon or Leitchfield.
